Tom is an Account Executive at Motion PR, where his strong work ethic and persistence are just a couple of the traits that make him a versatile PR go-getter. Tom plays a key role on a number of accounts, especially within the tech and consumer marketing fields.
Having worked in production for several Chicago-area radio stations, Tom is well versed in the nuances of what the media is keen on, and has been able to use that experience to hone in on what really sells a brands story, allowing him to approach all media targets with the best pitch angle possible. Utilizing new and pre-existing media contacts, Tom consistently garners media placements in local and national publications.
Tom graduated from University of Iowa, where he double-majored in Journalism and Communication Studies.

Most fearless moment (work or personal)? Cold calling. I don’t understand why people hate it. I jump head first into it. What’s the worst they can do? Hang up the phone? I’ve loved cold calling since starting at Motion PR as an intern. It’s a great feeling when you get the right person on the phone and really hit it off together on a given story.
What would your vanity license plate say? I<3Pierogi
What is your expertise or background? My background is in radio. I loved coordinating with producers, programming and marketing teams to execute events. Going into PR was a natural fit for me, as I love the process of storytelling and helping people connect over a particular idea.
