Pete Herrnreiter is the Director of Digital Marketing at Motion PR where he is a member of the agency’s leadership team tasked with developing Motion’s digital capabilities and offerings. An experienced digital leader, Pete has worked with clients in multiple industry verticals, such as financial services, healthcare, tech, consumer goods, automotive, associations, and B2B.
Prior to joining the Motion PR team, Pete has served in multiple digital leadership roles, most notably as VP of Digital Strategy at Imagination Publishing, where he led the agency’s analytics, inbound marketing, paid media, SEO and distribution teams. His ability to lead teams and clients has led to a number of speaking opportunities such as numerous regional conferences and at Content Marketing World.
A Chicago native, Pete was born and raised on the city’s northwest side and is a diehard Blackhawks and Fire fan. He is a 2007 Graduate from St. Norbert College in De Pete, WI where he majored in International Studies and German. He’s also an active alumnus at St. Patrick High School where he mentors students in marketing as part of their entrepreneur incubator program.

What is your expertise/background? Self-taught digital marketing guy (person, pro, whatever) with a background in both traditional marketing and content.
What’s one thing that will always make you laugh? Watching my 11-month old destroy the house.
Pop culture obsession? My wife loves to watch “Married at First Sight”, and because I usually am in the living room with her, the light from the TV just happens to hit my eyes. I tend to make sure this happens every Thursday.
