Motion PR Adds Digital Practice, Hires Pete Herrnreiter as Digital Director, Announces New Client Wins

Motion PR, a leading boutique PR firm in Chicago, has announced the expansion of its agency to include a digital practice. The agency has hired Pete Herrnreiter as Digital Director to execute the agency vision to provide both digital and traditional media services at the tipping point of the agency’s growth.

The agency’s digital offering will include digital strategy, influencer relations, native advertising, social media management, content marketing and SEO.

According to AdAge, digital media is expected to make up 33 percent of worldwide budget spend in 2017. Motion believes it is poised to seize upon this trend as they have seen an increasing client need for digital expertise in recent years. Motion is confident that their digital practice will help provide an avenue of significant expansion for the agency.

Previously, Pete was VP Digital Marketing at Imagination and Director at Symmetri Marketing Group, where he led teams to develop and execute digital concepts and solutions across multiple industry verticals. At Motion, he’ll guide clients through the development and deployment of integrated digital PR programs aligned with their PR and marketing efforts.

Additionally, the agency has hired Brittney Refakes as an office manager to help manage the budding 20+ person agency in the heart of the loop.

The new hires come atop a record year at Motion PR, whose new clients for 2017 include the Chicago Sun-Times and Hefty Party Cups.
