Fast-growing Chicago agency joins forces with veteran PR pro Bonni Pear to expand entertainment client roster
CHICAGO, IL – April 14, 2014 – Motion PR, a full-service public relations and social media agency, announced today the acquisition of Miller-Pear Public Relations, a Chicago-based agency specializing in entertainment, travel/attraction, retail and consumer product publicity, communications consulting and media spokesperson training.
Established in 1973 as Trisha Miller Communications, Miller-Pear is a highly-respected agency whose client roster throughout the years has included Feld Entertainment, Woodfield Mall, the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade, Rosemont Theatre and Travel Michigan. With a heavy emphasis on developing and fostering long-term relationships with their clients, the average tenure among Miller-Pear clients is over 15 years.

Pear brings with her more than 30 years of public relations experience, in addition to a number of long-standing Miller-Pear clients including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Disney On Ice, and the Bristol Renaissance Faire. In her new role, she will lead the agency’s entertainment, travel and event-based clients while also assisting in overall staff counsel and business development.
